The Temurun Waterfall
This waterfall is
considered a great picnic spot by the locals and is regarded as the “third
easiest” waterfall on the island to visit. I guess it’s because the other
waterfalls on the island require a lot of climbing and trekking to get to.
The water of this magnificent 14 tier Durian Perangin Waterfall cascades down from the slopes of Gunung Raya and is extremely popular among the locals as a place for picnics and other outdoor recreational activities. Each tier of the waterfall has its own uniqueness that makes the different cool crystal-clear pools stand out from the rest.
The lowland dipterocarp forest is extremely rich with a diverse variety of fauna and flora that are an attraction by themselves. Some of the plant species found here include tropical hardwood trees and vines like Melunak, Meranti, Meranti Jerit, Merapoh, Periang, Rattans, Rengas and Temak.

Beras Basah Island
Pristine, attractive, beautiful and peaceful are some of the adjectives
people used to describe Pulau Beras Basah. Being one of the most well-known
islands located at the west tip of Langkawi, this island will provide you a
perfect getaway with its white sandy beach that is embraced by the clear blue
sea. The lush green forest that surrounds the island adds a sense of
tranquility, enabling you to relax yourself upon stepping on the island.
